CTC SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE Date: January 19, 2005

Brainerd, MN – January 24, 2005 – Consolidated Telecommunications Company (CTC) has recently announced that applications for the company’s 2005 scholarship program are now available at area school guidance offices.

CTC awards nine $500 scholarships to area high school seniors who are planning to attend a university, community college or technical college. To be eligible, a student’s parents or legal guardians must have year-round telephone service from CTC and they must attend one of the following high schools: Brainerd, Pillager, Little Falls, Staple/Motley, Remer, Onamia and Pierz.

There is an “At Large” category for private schools, home schooled students and those at other public schools not listed above. At Large applications can be obtained by calling (218) 829-3531 or (800) 753-9104.
